THE CORINTH GROUP EXPOSED Report Now

From public records, across 7 jurisdictions and more than 20 years

Corinth Group of SwitzerlandThe Swindler from Switzerland

Martin Walter Model, Jurate Kairiene, Alec Theunissen and associated individuals and entities run a prolific, multi-decade advance-fee scam based in Switzerland and UK with their families.

They take hundreds of thousands of euros under the false promise of institutional-grade investment funding and have used multiple successive corporate names — every single one following the identical playbook: promise millions, collect tens of thousands, deliver nothing, disappear, rebrand, repeat.

20+ years. 30+ victims. 7 jurisdictions. Not one client funded. Not one contractually obligated deposit refunded. Same pattern. Same playbook. Same people

“Martin Model is well known within this up-front scam industry…”

Ripoff Report #1134964, March 2014

Public interest notice

This public interest notice concerns Martin Walter Model, Jurate Kairiene, Alec Theunissen and other individuals and entities associated with the Corinth Group of Switzerland. It is published due to a highly documented pattern of commercial and individual conduct that reflects a serious lack of integrity, accountability and ethical business practices. Such conduct includes collecting fees for services that were not delivered, failing to honour contractual obligations, issuing commitments that were subsequently reversed, ignoring multiple deadlines, and the apparent transition from one corporate entity to successor entities while outstanding liabilities remained unresolved.

The documentary record examined for this investigation spans more than 20 years, multiple jurisdictions and more than 30 complainants, with reported losses exceeding €10 million. The Corinth Group and associated parties have avoided legal and financial accountability despite extensive efforts by affected parties to resolve matters privately and amicably. Their conduct demonstrates a sustained pattern of avoiding responsibility for documented, contractual and acknowledged obligations.

Taken together, the evidence raises serious issues concerning fraud, deceptive representations, unlawful retention of funds and coordinated conduct across entities and jurisdictions. Despite making multiple commitments to fulfil those obligations, their actions reflect a complete lack of professionalism, integrity and good faith in commercial and personal dealings. The documented conduct warrants serious criminal and regulatory investigation.

The People — Who Runs the Operation

Every key position in the Corinth network is held by a family member or a trusted associate. Martin Model controls everything and appears nowhere in the records. His wife signs for the Swiss companies, his sons hold the UK vehicles, his daughter sits on the Credit Committee and his sister signs for C-Capital. Alec Theunissen — 'Martin's Hound' — fronts the UK operation with his son Brendton.

“We lost everything to Martin Walter Model, Jurate Kairiene, and Alec Theunissen.

They reassured us the funding was coming until the day it was supposed to arrive. Then — a sudden delay. No phone call. No empathy. An email. And then silence.

We had relied on their assurances. We hired people. Engaged contractors. My house was repossessed after the legal consequences that followed. My business partner took their life. We lost everything. And we are not alone.

We learned afterwards that they had done the exact same thing to dozens of other people before us. Reassurances, and then ‘sudden last-minute events stopping funding.’ They structure their contracts across multiple jurisdictions so that no single authority can easily act.

They have destroyed so many lives. They have taken so much money.

All Martin Walter says is: ‘That is not my problem.’

Alec was arguably worse. In my experience, nothing he told us was ever true.

I have never encountered people so devoid of conscience. I hope justice holds them accountable.”

Complainant statement, 2026. Published with consent.

Did you wire funds to Corinth? Contact your bank’s fraud department now.

Several sending banks have confirmed that losses like these may be covered by their fraud insurance and are actively assisting complainants. Ask about their scam reimbursement scheme and request a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) be filed. The more banks investigating Corinth, the higher the chance of recovery and criminal referral.

US Victims — File with the FBI (IC3).

Complainants report that Corinth induced advance-fee payments based on representations of imminent funding — funding that never materialised. If you wired funds from a US bank, file an Internet Crime Complaint at ic3.gov. Select “Wire Fraud” (18 USC §1343). Include: beneficiary name, dates and the term sheet containing the refund clause. The FBI aggregates complaints — the more filings, the faster an investigation is opened.

I. The Pattern — 30+ Complainants Describe the Same Sequence

Compiled from 30+ independent complainants across 7 jurisdictions, spanning dealings with Martin Walter Model, Alec Theunissen, Jurate Kairiene and the broader Corinth Group network. Every complainant describes the exact same pattern:

  1. The Promise

Up to €500M in funding within 45 days of signing. 3% interest. Flexible drawdown. Backed by Bank of America and “large amounts of gold in collateral.” You cannot see the contracts until after you sign the term sheet and pay. No references — you must “trust and respect the relationship.” The same story, recycled to dozens of complainants over more than a decade.

  2. The Fee

€30,000–€80,000 upfront as a “due diligence” deposit, refundable under Article 26 (see the clause). A faux process: no complainant ever saw a due diligence report and no complainant ever “failed” DD. For larger facilities: €350,000 security deposits for LDF 1 (€50K upfront + €300K on signing) or €5,000,000 for LDF 2. Several complainants report total losses exceeding €400,000.

  3. The Wait

The UK “Transaction Office” was, according to complainants, extremely and deliberately slow. Alec made repeated errors and went unresponsive for weeks — behaviour complainants believe was instructed by Martin. Once contracts were signed: months of reassurances, Letters of Comfort, instructions to start projects, engage EPCs and get everything moving — deepening financial and emotional commitment.

  4. The Excuse

At the last minute: a “major event” stops funding. “Bank of America withdrew.” “War in Iran.” “Trump tariffs.” The exact same script, delivered to different clients across different years. Escape clauses invoked. No evidence ever provided. When complainants asked for proof, Martin Model would shout and cry about “respect” and how he “cannot deal with people who ask such things.” Alec told clients to “piss off.” Both are described as having extremely bad tempers.

  5. Silence. Threats. Burnout.

Corinth goes silent. They rely on complainants burning out. When they don't — legal threats, explosive anger, and a morally depraved lawyer deployed to hold people at bay. No known complainant has ever received their money back.

All allegations attributed to identified third-party complainants. The numbered pattern reflects the consistent account described independently by 30+ complainants across multiple jurisdictions and years.

How the Offer Reaches Victims — Broker Marketing

Corinth's facilities are marketed through brokers and intermediaries. The advertisement below, posted on Facebook on 25 March 2024 by a trade-network page, offers funding from a “group of companies in Switzerland” of “10 Million to 1 Billion” under four facility names: LEF-1, LEF-2, LDF-1 and LDF-2. These are the names of the Corinth Group's own facility templates — LEF 2 (Loan Equity Facility), LDF 1 (Security Deposit Cash Facility) and LDF 2 (Debenture SBLC Facility).

The advertisement promises “No upfront fees”. Corinth's term sheet requires a EUR 80,000 Cost Contribution before any transaction proceeds, and its LDF facilities require security deposits of €350,000 and €5,000,000. The first thing a prospective client is told is contradicted by the first document they are asked to sign.

Intermediaries — Dale Changoo in Toronto, Integer Wealth Global in Luxembourg, Jurie Coetzee in South Africa and brokers such as this one — carry the same offer far beyond Switzerland, and make the pattern harder for any single authority to see.

II. The Contract — A Refund Clause Never Honoured

No known client has ever received a refund under this clause.

Article 26 of the Corinth Group term sheet requires the applicant to pay a Cost Contribution of EUR 80,000 and provides for its full refund within seven banking days if Corinth aborts the transaction for any reason.

“The Applicant is obligated to provide Corinth with a Cost Contribution in the amount of EUR 80,000 (Eighty thousand).”

“If the Due Diligence as outlined under point 27 above is not to the satisfaction of Corinth, or if Corinth decides to abort the transaction for any reason whatsoever the Capital Contribution in the amount of EUR 80,000.00 (eighty thousand Euros) paid by the Applicant will be refunded in full and without deduction of any costs within 7 (seven) banking days.”

Source: Corinth Group Term Sheet, Article 26 — “Cost Contribution”, reviewed March 2026

This clause has been triggered in every documented case. It has been honoured in none.

In every documented case, Corinth has neither provided funding nor returned advance fees. The refund clause has been triggered — and breached — in every instance. The promise that gets victims to pay is the promise Corinth never keeps.

III. Documented Red Flags — What the Records Show

  1. 01 Licensed Funds It Does Not Have

cgoch.com still promises funding through “registered and licensed Investment Funds”. The only licence the network ever held — a CySEC AIFM authorisation — was revoked on 3 October 2022, and the Corinth Capital RAIF (RAIF31) was dissolved in January 2023. No Corinth entity has ever held FINMA authorisation. The claim remains online.

[cgoch.com; CySEC AIFM Register; Cyprus Dept. of Registrar, HE 409232]

  2. 02 A Showcase Deal That Never Happened

Corinth's flagship credential — a USD 100M investment in Morepen Laboratories announced in April 2021 — left no trace in Morepen's shareholding. Morepen has stated directly that the transaction did not proceed as described. It is the only Corinth investment PitchBook records. A second announcement, USD 64M into Addvalue Technologies, produced no evidence of completion.

[Morepen Labs annual reports 2021–2023; BSE filings; direct correspondence; PitchBook]

  3. 03 Eight Directors Out in 48 Hours

On 13–14 June 2023 eight directors left the UK entities — in the same window in which every Corinth UK company was renamed “Three Tuns”, and roughly four months before the UK prohibition on corporate directors took effect. No reasons were ever filed.

    [Companies House filing records]

  4. 04 Licence Revoked in Seven and a Half Months

CySEC granted Corinth Fund Management's AIFM licence in early 2022 and revoked it on 3 October 2022. The regulator has not published its grounds. A revocation at that speed is exceptional.

[CySEC AIFM Register, decision dated 3 Oct 2022]

  5. 05 A Borrowed Heritage

All six Swiss AGs are pre-existing companies from unrelated trades — photography, architecture, trading, consulting — acquired and renamed between 2018 and 2025. The “founded in 1977” story belongs to a camera business. Corinth branding dates only from October 2018.

[Swiss Commercial Register / Zefix, CHE records]

  6. 06 Five Names, One Operation

APAHML → Arcis Consortium (also recorded as Arcis Consilium) → Curatio Capital → Corinth Group → Three Tuns. Each change of name has followed public complaints about the last. The principals, the Chur address at Stadtgartenweg 6 and the method have not changed. Complainants name Martin Model in every iteration, 2014–2026.

[Swiss Commercial Register; Companies House; Ripoff Report #1134964, #1344693]

  7. 07 Companies Created to Be Discarded

35+ UK companies have been run under a single director, Alec Theunissen. More than 30 are dissolved, struck off or in liquidation. They are opened, used and closed.

    [Companies House]

  8. 08 The Controller Who Signs Nothing

Martin Model holds no directorship and no significant-control entry in any register. His wife signs for all six Swiss AGs, his sons hold the UK vehicles and his sister signs for C-Capital. Complainants identify him as the person who makes every decision.

[Swiss Commercial Register; UK Companies House]

  9. 09 Disputed Debts in the Swiss Enforcement Register

Claims of CHF 1,697,500 against Corinth Investments AG (August 2022) and CHF 85,334.65 against Corinth Investment Holdings AG (January 2024) — both contested by Corinth — and cantonal tax claims in 2023 settled only through the enforcement office.

[Betreibungsregister extracts, Betreibungs- und Konkursamt der Region Plessur, 26 April 2024]

Swiss debt enforcement: a creditor may start proceedings (Betreibung) without first proving the debt; a Rechtsvorschlag is the debtor's formal objection. These entries record claims made and disputed, not findings that the sums are owed.

Martin Model publicly recommended Changoo on LinkedIn as “a resource of exceptional value”. Compare the two firms' facility documents side by side: the structures mirror each other.
